A review of CCTV footage confirmed a tip by Internal Affairs that suspected synthetic cannabinoids or K2 was in the section of the facility where Toomey worked.
Toomey was interviewed by Internal Affairs and his vehicle and home were searched. Authorities seized suboxone/K2, money, and the phone he used in the alleged drug deals on Dec. 10.

The suspected synthetic cannabinoids were entered into Allegheny County Police Department’s evidence and submitted to the Allegheny County Office of the Medical Examiner’s laboratory for scientific testing. Results are pending."
